Where Porcelain Meets Paint is a portrait in two halves: on the left, a face of cracked blue-and-white porcelain held together by luminous gold kintsugi seams; on the right, the same face dissolving into thick impasto oil paint in cobalt blue, ivory and gold leaf.

Eyes closed, lips a deep lacquer red, she stands exactly on the fault line between the fragile and the living — fractured ceramic peonies on one side, sweeping palette-knife strokes on the other.

A meditation on repair and rebirth: the gold does not hide the cracks, it celebrates them. Shards drift away from the porcelain side while the painted side stays warm, textured and alive.

Printed on premium metal, the artwork reveals deep contrasts, brilliant cobalt blues, shimmering gold details and the tactile relief of the brushwork. Its contemporary finish gives the piece a striking presence in a living room, bedroom, office or refined interior.

Each artwork is produced after purchase and includes a clean hanging system for an elegant, ready-to-display presentation.
