At PorcelainMuse, each order is prepared with great care to ensure that your artwork or collectible object is protected during transport.
Order Processing Time
Orders are usually prepared within 3 to 7 business days after payment confirmation.
For limited edition objects, artistic chess sets or handmade pieces, preparation may take slightly longer due to careful inspection, protective packaging and documentation.
If additional preparation time is required, we will contact you by email.

PorcelainMuse ships from France to selected international destinations, including:

- European Union
- United Kingdom

- Canada
- Australia

Packaging
Each order is carefully packed to protect the artwork during international transport.
For artistic chess sets, the board and resin pieces are protected with reinforced packaging. The pieces are secured separately whenever necessary to reduce movement during shipment.
We take particular care with fragile and glossy objects, including metal boards, resin pieces and limited edition artworks.
Shipping Times
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
- France: approximately 2 to 5 business days
- European Union: approximately 4 to 10 business days
- United Kingdom: approximately 5 to 12 business days
- United States / Canada: approximately 7 to 15 business days
- Australia and other international destinations: approximately 10 to 20 business days
These delivery times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to customs, carrier workload, weather conditions, strikes, incomplete addresses or other events outside our control.
Tracking
Whenever available, a tracking number will be provided after shipment.
You will receive tracking information by email once your order has been dispatched.
Customs Duties and Import Taxes
For international orders outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or local charges may apply.
These charges are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the buyer.
PorcelainMuse cannot control or predict customs fees, import taxes or delays caused by customs authorities.
Duties and import taxes vary depending on product classification, country of origin and destination country. Shopify also notes that duty rates can vary widely depending on HS codes and destination rules.
Incorrect or Incomplete Address
The buyer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Please make sure your address includes:
- full name
- street address
- apartment, building or unit number if applicable
- postal code
- city
- country
- phone number when required for delivery
PorcelainMuse cannot be held responsible for delays, failed delivery or returned parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.
If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address or failed delivery attempt, the buyer may be responsible for the cost of reshipping.
Damaged Parcel
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

- photos of the outer packaging
- photos of the inner packaging
- photos of the shipping label
This documentation is necessary to review the issue and assist with a carrier claim if needed.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
If your tracking has not updated for an unusual period of time, please contact us.
We will do our best to assist you and contact the carrier when possible.
PorcelainMuse is not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, carriers or events outside our control, but we will always assist you with care and attention.
